FREE: Xinorbis – Disk analyzer

I have just discovered Xinorbis Disk Analyzer. I haven't tested it yet but I am interested in comparing it with TreeSize which is at the moment my preferred tool. I will mainly compare the speed of the scan for very big storage drives. Speed of scan is the key factor for me. Here's some default screenshots from this application which look very nice to me.

It can be downloaded from here: Xinorbis
I'll keep you informed with the results of my tests. If you already have an opinion on this product, just let me know!!

  1. Looked at Xinorbis a few months back but in the environment I was in it just couldn't scale. In a smaller system it works well. Windirstat a'bit old does still work for slightly larger systems but Treesize is the only thing I've been able to audit volumes with 10 to 20 million files on it without locking up. Another note about scan performance of Xinorbis vs Treesize on a gigabit connection and the software running on the same Windows XP client across on CIFS (I know ugly) to a HNAS cluster the system was able to scan 2,000 to 2,500 files per second with Xinorbis while with Treesize Pro (without owner information) I was able to do 6,000 to 8,000 files per second
